Our microneedling facials work by creating tiny microchannels in the skin, making it much easier for active serums to penetrate where they’re needed. Why is that important? Because it bypasses the skin’s natural barrier, allowing active serums to reach deeper layers where they can work their magic.

Let’s talk about that barrier for a moment. Your skin’s outermost layer, the stratum corneum, is a bit like a security guard – it’s brilliant at locking in moisture and keeping out unwanted intruders like allergens and bacteria. While this is essential for your health, it’s also why so many skincare products don’t deliver the results you’re hoping for; they can’t penetrate deeply enough.

By creating those microchannels, we can deliver targeted serums straight to the layers that need them most, supercharging your skin’s rejuvenation process.

How Quickly Do Results Show?

These treatments work by stimulating your skin's natural repair processes, delivering results that develop gradually and look beautifully natural. For optimal outcomes, we recommend starting with an initial course of 6 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart, followed by a maintenance session every 6 months to sustain and enhance your results.

A Tailored Approach to Radiance

We believe that no two skins are alike, which is why our microneedling facials are completely customizable. Choose from four powerful serums, each designed to address specific concerns:

Exosome Microneedling

Exosomes are nano-sized powerhouses packed with growth factors and RNA that boost collagen and elastin production. The result? Firmer, plumper, and brighter skin.

  • Best for: Men and women in their 30s and 40s noticing fine lines around the eyes, lips, or forehead.
  • Not suitable for: Vegetarians and vegans.

Melasma Microneedling

For those battling melasma, this serum combines arbutin and liquorice with vitamins A, C, and E in a hydrating hyaluronic acid base. It helps reduce pigmentation caused by hormonal changes and sun exposure.

  • Best for: Women aged 20–45 with melasma linked to pregnancy, contraceptives, or perimenopause.

Important note: Melasma can’t be permanently removed, but this treatment can significantly lighten its appearance for long-term improvement.

Polynucleotide Microneedling

Polynucleotides, extracted from fish DNA, stimulate collagen production, helping to combat the early signs of aging. Think smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin.

  • Best for: Anyone in their 30s and 40s starting to see fine lines or loss of firmness.
  • Not suitable for: Vegetarians and vegans.

Facial Redness Microneedling

This serum strengthens the skin’s barrier to reduce irritation, inflammation, and redness, giving you a more even tone.

Best for:

  • Sensitive, redness-prone skin, especially common in Celtic skin types during seasonal transitions.
  • Perimenopausal women experiencing inflammation due to hormonal shifts.

Important note: While it won’t cure rosacea, it can significantly reduce redness with lasting results.

Why don't we use exosomes derived from plants?

At present exosome serums derived from plants have not been scientifically proven to be as effective as those derived from animals.

Is our exosome serum ethically sourced?

The stem cells used to produce exosome serum are harvested from the umbilical cord of red deer which are free ranging, and organically and ethically raised, in New Zealand. The umbilical cord, which connects the calf to its mother, is typically discarded after birth.

While harvesting umbilical cords as “medical waste” does not involve any harm to mother or child. All mammals share similar signalling proteins, including those released by stem cells which are used to communicate with other cells. Red deer cord lining stem cell proteins used in exosome serum thus also have regenerative and restorative effects on human skin.

Why don't we use polynucleotides from plants?

At present polynucleotides serums derived from plants have not been scientifically proven to be as effective as those derived from fish.

How are polynucleotides derived from fish?

Currently ingredients for polynucleotide products are created from highly purified DNA extracted from the sperm of farmed salmon.

What preparation is required for microneedling?

Following a good skincare regime prior to starting your treatment plan will achieve best results. During your treatment you should:

  • Avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs e.g. Aspirin / Ibuprofen 1 week before and after each treatment.
  • Stop the use of retinol (vitamin A) creams 3 days prior to treatment.

After a microneedling what must I avoid?

After your needling treatment, to reduce the risk of infection, you must avoid for 12-24 hours:

  • Touching the treated areas with your fingers,
  • Wearing make-up.

Who’s a Good Candidate?

To ensure the best results, we recommend starting with a Skin Analysis to assess your concerns and tailor the treatment to your needs.

Microneedling facials are not suitable for you if:

  • You have a weakened immune system.
  • You’re prone to clotting or bleeding disorders.
  • You’re pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You’re vegetarian or vegan and considering exosome or polynucleotide treatments.
